Vmax200 Hypermax, an annual hyper car event in the UK with focus solely on speed, has a new title holder for the fastest car that ever graced their airstrip. It’s a 1,364 horsepower Koenigsegg One:1 which hit a dizzying 240 mph.
The first top speed attempts were conducted under more realistic conditions with a passenger in the car and on regular fuel, during which Koenigsegg One:1 could only got up to 230-5 mph. Then they lost the passenger, put some E85 fuel in the car and strapped professional racer Oliver Webb in the driver’s seat. That got the car up to the record-breaking 240 mph. The One:1 in question here is the famous BHP PRoject car we have covered extensively before.
