German tuner of anything exotic, DMC, is in the process of putting together one of the most thorough upgrade kits yet for the latest Ferrari super car. Dubbed Orso, DMC Ferrari 488 GTB gets a full aero kit, wheels, suspension treatment, and a power upgrade up to 788 horsepower.

That is a fairly substantial boost in power considering the twin-turbo V8 in the GTB makes around 670 horsepower. The extra oomph will invariably improve the car’s straight-line and cornering performance, so it’s a good job the tuner has taken care to enhance the car’s handling and aerodynamics.

The aero aspect of DMC Ferrari 488 GTB is dealt with through the use of a bespoke kit that consists of a front spoiler lip featuring two side fins for “additional aggressive look,” a DMC fixed rear wing with an extreme angle of attack, and massive new side skirts. Needless to say, all these parts are crafted from carbon fiber.

DMC Ferrari 488 GTB Orso also comes with a range of forged alloy wheels to choose from, complemented with sport suspension system and, we reckon, uprated brakes. After all, you can’t just give a car an extra 130 or so horsepower and do nothing about the stopping power.
