Mercedes AMG C63 Coupe Black Series 600x345 at Rendering: Mercedes AMG C63 Coupe Black Series

It’s been a while since Mercedes-Benz last gave us a Black Series hot rod. We’re hoping they’re just taking a brake from creating mental machines and that they have not given up the endeavor altogether. In fact, we think we might have found what they should build next It should be a Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe Black Series.

And to help stimulate their imagination, here’s a cool rendering of what such a thing might look like. Penned by Theophilus Chin, this imaginary Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe Black Series uses cues from the previous Black Series C63 for the new Coupe, including aero kit, bonnet, and wheels. So the car has a tall rear wing, chunky side skirts, and carbon front spoiler and accompanied garnish which to be frank look like the thin mustache of a medieval French baron.

What we are most interested in, even more than the design, is what sort of firepower the next Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe Black Series – if indeed they are going to build one – would boast. Obviously, the engine will remain the current 4.0 liter biturbo unit, but it will feature some sort of upgrade over the 510-hp output of the S-model. For this car to make any sense at all, this engine must produce at the very least 600 horsepower. Needless to say, the Black would also get uprated brakes and suspension.
