The most popular LB-Works wide body kit, after the one they designed for Nissan GT-R, is undoubtedly the package for Ferrari 458. Emboldened by the success of that kit the Japanese tuner is now in the process of putting together the first Liberty Walk Ferrari F430 wide body.
Whether this oldie but goodie car be able to pull off the extreme visual mods that come with an LB-Works treatment remains to be seen in the real world. But we have to say the preview photos of Liberty Walk Ferrari F430 show something a lot of potential. What’s more, it is a tuning kit very much of its time. The owners of the old 430 are either bored with their cars and want to get rid of it, or they are looking for ways to spice things up a bit. This kit can serve both groups.
As for the ingredients, Liberty Walk Ferrari F430 boasts the familiar design elements of any LB-Works kit. That is a pair of custom bumpers on the front and rear, custom side sills and skirts to go with the signature bolt-on wide fenders, optional rear wing in either ducktail or GT format, rear diffuser, and duct covers. A full F430 kit made of carbon can set you back around $30,000. And that’s before you shell out for the Airrex air suspension, custom exhaust, and super fat wheels.
The status on Liberty Walk’s Ferrari F430 kit is “coming soon” at the moment. But don’t hold your breath. It was six months ago they announced their McLaren 650S package and we’re still waiting for it.
