Although Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke department is capable of fulfilling pretty much all your dreams when it comes to personalization, if your dream is having a heavy dose of carbon fiber on your car they are useless. Carbon is just not their thing, which is why a couple of high-profile tuners have joined to forces to give you a comprehensive Rolls-Royce Carbon Fiber package.
Bengala Automotive of Spain and Vitesse AuDessus of USA have announced a Rolls-Royce Carbon Fiber program which includes a number of carbon components designed to make the luxury car look sportier, even though naked carbon components may look a bit out of place on the body of a Roller. You know, there is a reason why RR don’t offer the thing themselves. But at any rate, the program these two firms offer include carbon fiber roof, boot lid, deck lid, bonnet, windscreen surround, grille surround and mirror caps, plus, most importantly, carbon fiber wheels.
“Forged carbon fibre is an extraordinary development for the automotive industry. To the casual observer the material serves a purely utilitarian purpose. As a designer I was inspired by the mosaic-like motifs and felt that the aesthetic could be elevated. I visualised a material with the look of honed granite that would communicate the antithesis of the current perception: opulent luxury as opposed to ascetic utilitarianism. The product that Vitesse AuDessus was able to develop exceeded my highest expectations; and, when thinking of the appropriate application for the material’s debut as a luxury finish, no pairing was better suited than the handmade rolling masterpieces by Rolls-Royce,” says Bengala Owner and Design Chief Shoghi Saeidnia.
Rolls-Royce Carbon Fiber package by Bengala and Vitesse AuDessus is reasonably priced, a least by Roller standards:
Bonnet | $7,250 |
Grill Surround | $3,875 – $4,125 |
Mirrors + Mounts | $3,125 |
Windshield Surround | $3,100 – $3,480 |
Roof (Wraith) | $9,655 |
Decklid (Wraith) | $6,950 |
