Charles Rolls and Henry Royce probably never envisioned, when they put together Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, that someday their names would be on a navy blue four-seat convertible with an orange interior. But that’s what the company’s Bespoke department does these days, and someone in Abu Dhabi has ordered a Rolls-Royce Dawn in just this configuration.

The exterior of this custom Rolls-Royce Dawn is brilliant. The rich shade of blue they’ve picked for it is just amazing, and it goes really well with all the chrome and brushed aluminum parts that adorn the body. Granted, the orange coachline is a bit too spicy, but hey, it is only little. Sadly we can’t say the same thing about the interior. It is a sea of orange leather complemented with what appears to be cherry wood trim, and you will agree it is a bit on the vulgar side. It’s like driving around in a Fanta bottle.

In terms of technicalities, Rolls-Royce Dawn boasts a twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 powertrain with a power output of 563bhp or 420kW and a torque rating of 780Nm or 575 lb ft. The car also features an Automatic Cruise Control system helps to reduce constant small precision adjustments of distance and speed, radar and cameras, and a standard Satellite Aided 8-speed ZF transmission which utilizes GPS data to allow the car to see beyond what the driver sees, anticipating their next move based on location and driving style.
