Mercedes 190E Evo II is a bit of a unicorn in the classic car market as it is a vintage car with cult status that you can easily drive every day and enjoy its performance. It also has limited numbers going for it, with only 502 ever built and only 4 in this specs sold in the UK. This is one of those four, and it’s going to be on sale at Silverstone Auctions’ Salon Prive Sale in September, estimated at between £180,000 and £220,000.

The 1990 Mercedes 190E Evo II is the only sports saloon that ever came close to threaten the undisputed reign of BMW M3 in this segment, and although it never quite managed to win the throne, it remains to this day one of the coolest cars ever to come out of Germany.
