As you may recall from our previous reports, the last ever Mitsubishi Lancer Evo was slated by the company for an online auction with all the benefits going to charity. The car has now been sold and it has brought in $76,400 for Feeding America Riverside and San Bernardino and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition US1600 completes the task started by US0001 model, the very first Final Edition model, which was also auctioned for charity. That car went for $46,200, which means together the first and last Evo Final Editions have raised $122,600 for charity. So while you are missing the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo in the days ahead just remember that it went out doing a good deed.
