It seems that everybody is getting an exclusive look at the Aston Martin DB11 these days except those closer to home in Europe. After featuring the car in their New Zealand on Ice event where it took to the snow, Aston Martin has now hosted a track day event in Japan where the guests got a first-hand driving experience of the new car.
Aston Martin DB11 track day event was hosted at Sodegaura Forest Raceway. The guests also got to drive other cars of the range including the Rapide S and Vanquish as well as the super special Vantage GT8 which was piloted around by race driver Shinichi Katsura.
Just to recap, Aston Martin DB11 comes not only with a fresh design that heralds a whole new language for the brand, it also packs a new in-house designed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine. The car also fearures a new lighter, stronger, and more space efficient bonded aluminium structure and benefits from advanced aerodynamics. The engine develops 608 PS (600 BHP) and 700 Nm of torque, making DB11 the most powerful production DB model ever. Naturally, it’s the most dynamic and most accelerative too, with a top speed of 200 mph and a 0-62 mph time of just 3.9 seconds.
