You probably remember the engineering marvel that is Brabus Mercedes GLS 850 XL from our first coverage of this vehicle because, well, how can one forget such a thing. This fantastic beast was sighed the other day in Monaco and captured by car spotters, so you can have an up close and personal look at it and hear its awesome soundtrack.

That XL in this car’s name is really apt because it does look absolutely massive in the flesh. It’s a good thing then Brabus has given it 850 horsepower. Driving this thing probably gives you some ideas as to what it would be like if you could drive a four-story building!

Just to recap, Brabus Mercedes GLS 850 XL features a heavily modified V8 engine developing 850 horsepower and a peak torque of 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft). It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a limited top speed of 300 km/h. The package also includes a set of wheels and tires, uprated brakes and suspension, an exclusive interior treatment and an aero kit consisting of revised bumpers, front spoiler and grille, vented bonnet, side strakes, side sills and skirts, fender flares, rear diffuser insert, roof spoiler and Brabus tailpipes.
