Mercedes X63 AMG Render 600x385 at Rendering: Mercedes X63 AMG

Following yesterday’s online debut of the new Mercedes X-Class pickup truck we now get to see the AMG version of this vehicle in this excellent rendering. In creating the Mercedes X63 AMG designer X-Tomi has drawn inspiration from the current range of AMG SUVs, namely the GLE models.

What sets the Mercedes X63 AMG apart from the regular version – even though it is yet to be revealed in final production guise as what we have seen so far is but a concept – is a set of sporty AMG bumpers with larger air intakes and a spoiler lip up front and a big diffuser at the back. The truck will also get massive AMG wheels and tires, although we doubt they would look anything like the ones features here.

All of that, mind you, is pure speculation. The standard version of the X-Class is still a long way off from hitting the roads, and as of now the company has no plans for a hotted-up Mercedes X63 AMG. What’s more, the company’s brass have already said the X-Class is going to be priced “attractively” which means it is aimed at a more eco-minded class than Mercedes’ normal custom base. So the AMG version may never happen.
