BMW is pumping a little extra juice in its already bonkers super SUVs with a new blacked-out edition. The 2018 BMW X5M and X6M Black Fire gets a range of new cosmetic and interior upgrades that make them meaner and cooler and as a result sexier. 

On the outside the BMW X5M and X6M Black Fire get an extremely rich shade of Sapphire Black Metallic paintjob complemented with black M double kidney with black bars and black forged 21-inch M alloy wheels. There is also standard carbon mirror caps which set the whole thing off nicely. As for the interior, besides a couple of Black Fire badges and insignia, you get fully-electric M multifunctional seats with integrated headrests come as standard in full fine-grain Merino leather in contrasting Black and Mugello Red, Alcantara steering wheel, BMW Individual headliner in anthracite, and Piano Black trims.

BMW X5M and X6M Black Fire edition feature a 575 horsepower bi-turbo V8 engine which makes puts them in the top five fastest SUVs in the world with a 0 to 100 km/h time of just 4.2 seconds with the standard 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox. That on-road performance is great enough for you to forgive these SUVs their lack of any notable off-road capability.
