This past weekend during the ADAC TCR Germany Hyundai had brought along the new i30 N TCR, a customer race car, a new competition model from Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing division, which attracted a lot of attention. The race car is based on the i30 N hot hatch which is already being praised as hit.

While details and specs of the Hyundai i30 N TCR are yet to be revealed, the race car will be pretty close to the road-going model both visually and in terms of mechanical underpinnings. Of course, the TCR version boasts a competition-grade aero kit, suspension, wheels and tires as well as upgraded engine. One of the purposes of this car, after all, is to give the i30 N some motorsport prestige and make it even more irresistible to the hot hatch buyers.

Hyundai i30 N TCR evne features a livery that is inspired by a production color featured on the road-going version. The Sky Blue, with highlights of Active Red and darker ‘Hyundai’ Blue, is a signature of high-performance models from the Korean car maker and is even used on their WRC models. The TCR is still being tested by Hyundai Motorpsort and BRC Racing, but it will be ready to be handed over to the customers and teams in early December.
