So finally after what seemed like a century Automobili Lamborghini released the highly anticipated hard-core version of the Huracan, and already the car has some serious bragging rights. Before they unveil the new Lamborghini Huracan Performante they sent the car to the Nurburgring in Germany where it set a blisteringly quick time.

Lamborghini Huracan Performante owes this remarkable performance to a number of factors. First, there is the weight saving thanks to a hybrid aluminum and carbon fiber frame Lambo calls Forged Composite. The components made from this blend include front and rear spoiler, the engine bonnet, rear bumper and aerodynamic diffuser, contributing to the car’s weight reduction of 40 kg.Then there is the beefed up 5.2 liter V10 engine which develops 640 horsepower in the new model, corresponding to a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.9 seconds. Last but not least, we have the cool aero kit – Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) – which not only improves the way the car cuts through the air, it also gives it a whole lot more attitude.
