What you see here is a 1957 Ferrari ‘pontoon-fender’ 250Testa Rossa, an ultra-rare jewel which is going to be auctioned this year on May 17 in Maranello, Italy and is set to to break the world record! Last year a much newer 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder has been auctioned for a whopping $10,894,400 US dollars and this car is expected to easily beat that. The ‘Pontoon fender’ has been designed by the great Scaglietti and they only made 22 units in 2 years of production. That should justify the crazy price a bit!
