So with his new chassis setting, Lewis Hamilton crushed the competition and cruised to victory in 2009 Singapore Grand Prix night race, where he had stated from Pole Position. Hamilton won the race with 9 seconds lead over Toyota’s Timo Glock in second place who got lucky that Nico Rosberg, who was showing amazing performance, faced troubles.

In third place came Fernando Alonso who by the way will be wearing Scuderia red! Some say the deal is closed and we should wait for the official announcement in the next few days! Alonso dedicated his podium finish to the recently fired mentor Flavio Briatore.

The Brawn duo finished back to back in fifth and sixth places, Button ahead of Barrichello. Jenson is now one step closer to the title and so is Brawn! Unfortunately, Ferrari duo were struggling again, and finished in the embarrassing places of 10th for Raikkonen and 13th for Fisichella. Kimi Raikkonen, fed up with Ferrari technical difficulties will be driving for his old team McLaren Mercedes next season, as rumor has it that the hefty cost of this delivery will be paid by McLaren sponsor Santander.
