Suzuki UK has launched a new variant of the lovely SX4 called the Aerio, which wants to be sporty and economical at the same time. This limited edition Indian-built model marks Suzuki Maruti plant’s one million units annual milestone. The Aerio has front, side and rear under spoilers in lieu of black body trim and front and rear skid plates and it’s also got a roof spoiler, rear privacy glass and deletion of roof rails.

Based on the SZ4 1.6-litre petrol model with manual transmission, the Aeiro does 45.6mpg with 143g/km Co2 rating, and it costs £12,495.

Suzuki has also updated the SX4 1.6 DDiS diesel powertrain as it now does 57.6mpg and 129g/km. Also the Swift Sport model has become cleaner and its 1.2 variants emits just 129g/km Co2.
