Although Red Bull recognized Mark Webber as the culprit for Turkish Grand Prix accident in which the Aussie clashed with teammate Sebastian Vettel and sent him out of the race, but they’ve officially announced that his contract is extended for 2011. After all he is showing amazing performance recently, with four pole positions and two wins so far, and he’s currently leading the driver’s championship table as well.

So since Sebastian Vettel is also under contract for 2011, Red Bull is going to maintain their current lineup for the next season, because it’s working brilliantly! They have the greatest chance to win this year’s title above all the big names such as Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren.

Mark Webber commented: “The decision to extend for a further year was a mutual one; it’s widely known that I’m not interested in hanging around in Formula One just for the sake of it and at this stage of my career, I’m happy to take one year at a time. I continue to feel very comfortable here – I have a fantastic relationship with the whole team and the factory at Milton Keynes feels like home. It’s been incredible to be part of the team as it’s moved forward from a mid-field competitor to one that is challenging for the Championship.”
