Porsche Panamera Reaches 25,000 Milestone 25000th Porsche Panamera

Porsche Panamera is ugly and expensive, but it’s selling like hot cakes all around the world! And this ruby-red V6 model you see above sporting the 25,000 number plate is the proof. It is the 25,000th unit of the four-door Grand Tourer that leaves Leipzig factory on its way to America. This number for car of this type and price is astonishing.

Porsche Panamera lineup includes Panamera S and Panamera 4S, as well as Panamera Turbo, with V6, V8 and V8 turbo engines. Next year an electric hybrid variant will be added to the list as well. This system is similar to the one they use in Cayenne Hybrid S, which consists of a 3.0 liter 333 hp V6 combined with a 47 hp electric motor. So it delivers the same sort of power as a conventional V8, but its fuel economy is even better than the V6 models.

Ugly and expensive? Expensive, yes, but ugly: rather no… Because: How will you explain that 25000 people will buy this _very_ expensive car, when it is ugly..?

I think the Panamera has a not unharmonic design, with only one weak point: the rear doors.
