Here’s the very first picture of Infiniti’s new luxury crossover, the JX. It’s more of a teaser, but Infiniti thinks it’s enough for now!

We can spot some similarities to the FX, but let’s wait until they reveal the car in full then see what’s what.

Infiniti will reveal seven images of the car on their Facebook page before the car’s official unveiling at 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18. They call it the ‘Power of 7’ campaign, reflecting on the fact that the JX is a 7-passenger vehicle. The Facebook page will include an opportunity to win a trip for two to join Infiniti at the vehicle’s reveal at the Pebble Beach Concours.

Infiniti JX goes on sale in the Spring of 2012 and makes its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this November.

“Families don’t have many luxury vehicle options today. The new Infiniti JX will be the 7-passenger antidote to the ho-hum luxury crossovers that are out there right now,” said Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti Americas.
