The closest Toyota got to reveal the FT-8 sportscar was releasing an iPhone app. Now though a leaked Modellista brochure reveals what must be the real thing.

Modellista is the in-house tuner of Toyota cars and is responsible for the body kit and stuff Toyota themselves offer as optional extras. The FT-86 shown here is the JDM version and considering that it’s the Modellista version, it must hve a few bells and whistle more than the standard FT-86.

But this, to all intents and purposes, should be what the new Toyota FT-86 looks like in its final produciton form.

It’s not completely like the concept version, but still pretty good. Too bad then the car will be getting a pathetic 200-hp four-banger. A car that looks this good should at least have 300 hp.
