Lexus released official pictures of its Detroit-bound LF-LC concept car. And man does it look good!

They haven’t released any sort of technical details, only that “Lexus LF-LC Concept is envisioned as offering Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive to deliver both driving performance and fuel efficiency.”

That doesn’t matter though, because this concept is all about the looks. Created at the company’s Calty design studio in Newport Beach, California the LC shows he new direction of design for Lexus, first seen with the LF-Gh concept which resulted in the production GS sedan. So one would imagine the LF-LF too would spawn a production model, maybe an all-new sports coupe.

Some say it’s a facelift version of the LF-A, some say it’s the new SC. We are going to have to wait for the Detroit Motor Show and Lexus press conference to find that out. Either way, it is flattering to see Lexus has completely shaken off that old dull and boring image, and replaced it with a super exciting one.

And it’s not just the exterior. The LC also showcase a new interior design which will certainly be seen in the upcoming production models. What we love about it is that Lexus hasn’t gone for the carbon-aluminum trims. There is plenty of leather and natural wood in there, but it doesn’t look old-fashioned. It looks warm and cozy. It’s fantastic.

We really do hope to see this car in production. Come on Lexus, you know what yo have to do.
