Porsche Boxster R at Rendering: Porsche Boxster R

The Boxster R is a fictional car. Porsche does not have such model in its range. But they should.

I mean just look at it. It’s a rendering by Milanno based on the new 981 Boxster, and it speculates what an R-badged Boxster would be like. Porsche makes a Cayman R, so why not a Boxster.

What Milanno thinks the R should have includes Adjusted front bumper with enlarged bottom trim and redesigned intakes, Added Porsche side decals, Performance wheels tinted in black, Mirrors tinted in matte black, Integrated Porsche sport seats, Redesigned side intakes, and Added rear spoiler.

The ingredients seem spot on for a sportier version of the popular roadster. It would be based on the Boxster S, obviously, and in our opinion it could do with a few more horses than the base car’s 315hp. We’re thinking maybe 350.

So there you go Porsche. The internet did the design and engineering for you! You just have to make it happen.
