Ferrari Enzo Replacement Being Readied For 2013 Debut

enzo at Ferrari Enzo Replacement Being Readied For 2013 Debut

Ten years after the first Enzo, Ferrari is readying a new hyper car to replace it. It won’t be called Enzo anymore, because in Ferrari’s book each model has its own unique identity. The new car is apparently in its final stages of development and, according to Ferrari boss, will be shown to a group of current and potential customers at the end of 2012.

The Enzo’s son will feature a full carbon fiber body which in combination with a new V12 engine will make the fastest Ferrari of all time. Currently the recently revealed F12 Berlinetta is the fastest and most powerful Fezza with 740hp and o to 100 time of 3.1 seconds.

So the new super car will have more than 740 hp. Actually, the fact that it will be a V12 car is a cause for celebration. We all thought V12s would be dead by 2013, but they’re soldiering on.

The new Enzo will be produced in extremely limited numbers like its predecessor, which had a run of 399 units, one less than Ferrari’s estimation of demand for the car.

Following its private debut the new Ferrari will make its first public appearance at either the 2013 Detroit or Geneva Motor Shows.
