Geneva Motor Show this year is so chuck-full of amazing new cars that a Lexus with a new front grille can easily be taken for granted. But Lexus RX is an important car and we should at least take a look at its bold new spindle grille to see if it’s been capable of making the car any prettier.

The answer is, I’m afraid, no. You see, that grille, it works fine on the GS because it matches the the rest of the car. All the curves and lines are just as nuts as the shape of that grille. On the RX though, it looks kinda ridiculous.

It i slightly better on the F-Sport model, as it comes with matching mesh grilles. The other visual changes include the addition of the new LED headlights and fog lamps to the normal models (hybrid shown above) and a new front bumper for the F Sport version (shown below).

There is also new 18-inch wheels available for the normal, and 19-inch for the F Spot models.

As for the engines, the 2013 Lexus RX’ V6 comes with 270hp and an automatic six-speed transmission, while the Hybrid benefits from two electric motors which are good for a total output of 295hp.
