If the 600-hp Hennessey Velociraptor Matt Farah was driving earlier doesn’t float your boat, check this out. It’s a Ford F-150 Raptor tuned by the American-obsessed German tuner Geiger, and it has, yep, you guessed it. Geiger uses the same sort of tricks as Hennessey to increase the output of the Raptor’s V8, which means using a compressor, to arrive at that magical 600 horsepower output.

Like the Velociraptor that 600 is made at that crank. By the time it reaches the car’s 35-inch tires and the road, it’s more like 450 horsepower. The amazing fact about Geiger’s Raptor is that because of the large lumps of torque this engine makes at low rpm – below 4500 – is some circumstances the fuel consumption should be even lower that the standard Raptor, because you you get the same pulling power with less throttle load.

Makes sense. But it doesn’t matter really. With this 3.5 tonne truck you’ll get something like 15 liters per 100 km. Who cares about a few liters more or less.

What we want to know is whether or not Geiger’s car sound just as awesome as Hennessey’s, which has remotely controlled valves in its exhausts. Geiger’s Raptor can be obtained for € 74 900 in Germany.
