What happened to Uwe Gemballa, the founder and former boss of Gemballa tuning center, was terrible. But we have to say, under the new management Gemballa is making finer cars. They have certainly improved their design department. Here’s their package for the new Porsche 991 Cabrio, and it looks fantastic.

If it was the old Gemballa you’d get an ungainly body kit and some ridiculous paint job. But this one comes with a subtle, yet cool, aero kit featuring a new front fascia, sport side skirts, revised rear bumper, a new diffuser and no less than six tailpipes. They’ve also fitted it with a set of 21-inch GForged-one wheels, and lowered the ride height by 30mm. These changes have dramatically enhanced the looks of the 911.

That said, if it was the old Gemballa, they’d increase the power output as well, probably to an insane level. But the new Gemballa has not announced any power packages for this car.
