Jaguar F-Type: More Official Pictures Leaked

Today is a very special day because we get our very first (unofficial) look at the new Jaguar F-Type without any camouflage spoiling the view. Now that these pictures are out you can be sure that the official reveal is imminent, what with the Paris Motor Show being around the corner. This is the first we see the rear-end and bits of the interior, and we have to say, what an exquisite piece of kit.

The F-Type is, to all intents and purposes, the production version of Jaguar C-X16 concept. That car is a coupe, but Jaguar’s decision to make it as a convertible was the best possible thing that could happen. It adds the thrill of open-top driving to all the good things the coupe would deliver. It also looks cooler than the coupe, and while the concept was more of a GT car, the F-type is a full-blooded sports car.

This gorgeous convertible Jag will come in two V6 and V8 versions. Both engines are supercharged and both will be offered with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Jaguar has said before there will be manual versions in the future, but nothing is official yet.

We have already started saving up!
