In a few days the new Jaguar F-Type sports car will make its official American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. But before that Jaguar decided to show it to a number of fans and customers who attended the Chicago ALIVE Driving Experience. In this event participants got to drive the XF to the limit, learn about the new AWD models, and also take a very close look at the F-Type.

For the rest of us Jaguar released this video in which Tim Phillippo, Product Manager, Jaguar North America, introduces the all new F-Type and reveals some interesting details about it.

The F-Type is an exquisite product and some of its fancy features are truly amazing. But we have to say some of them just seem like unnecessary extra garnish; stuff like the folding air vents, or disappearing door handles.  The F-Type’s interior is designed as a 1+1 cabin, which means everything is focused on the driver. The passenger is sort of separated and all he or she gets is a panic handle!
