Toyota Furia Teaser 545x296 at Toyota Furia Concept Teased for 2013 Detroit Debut

Next month at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show Toyota will unveil a new concept car called Furia, and judging by this teaser video, it should be a pretty exciting car.  The Furia is a sports sedan and has features like dual tailpipes, honeycomb grilles, diffuser, carbon fiber parts, and a whole host of LED lights. All very nice, but chances are underneath it’s hybrid or maybe even an EV.

Toyota is done with making boring, boxy cars, and it shows not just with their new design language and recent production models, but also with the concept cars. They now feature shaper edges, aggressive head and taillights, and muscular profiles. Looks like they’ve learned a lesson from the success of the GT86.
