2013 Skoda Octavia UK Pricing Announced

The new Skoda Octavia executive saloon is now on sale in the UK market, offering three trim levels and four engines – two petrol and two diesels, and s starting price of just £15,990. The top of the line, fully-loaded model costs £23,240.

The entry-level petrol engine is the 1.2 TSI. It develops 105PS, has combined-cycle fuel consumption of 57.7mpg and CO₂ emissions of 114 g/km. The TSI engine provides a maximum torque of 175 Nm at between 1,400 and 4,000 rpm. The other petrol option is a 1.4 TSI 140PS unit with maximum torque of 250 Nm. Available transmissions include a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG.

The diesel range includes a 1.6 TDI 105PS with standard start/stop and manual five-speed transmission rated at 74.3mpg with CO₂ emissions of 99 g/km, and a 2.0 TDI 150 PS unit with 68.2mpg on the combined cycle and CO₂ emissions of 106g/km (119g/km for DSG-equipped models).

Later in the year Skoda will launch a GreenLine version with an optimised 1.6 TDI CR 110PS engine, which achieves CO₂ emissions of only 89 g/km and returns 83mpg.
