Renderings: 2016 Porsche Panamera

Automotive artist Theophilus Chin has already come up with what he think the next Porsche Panamera would look like. Clearly based on the Sport Turismo concept, this car is more of a sedan compared to the current Panamera and has a proper rear compartment with longer overhangs.

It has very nice proportions and definitely looks much better than the current Panamera. Chin has tastefully redesigned the rear-end of the Sport Turismo, while maintaining its proportions. The side profile with its low-slung roof and flared wheelarches has something of Fisker Karma about it. It is a very good design.

However, a trunk like this is not going to be as practical as that big rear hatch you get with the current car, and Porsche always gives practicality a higher priority than style, so sadly the real thing may never look anything like this.
