Toyota GT86 Convertible to Make Geneva Debut

Toyota GT86 Convertible Teaser 545x334 at Toyota GT86 Convertible to Make Geneva Debut

The open-top version of the Toyota GT86 sports car will make debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a concept. Toyota has confirmed that by releasing the teaser image above. It’s called the FT-86 Open Concept.

Toyota refers to this car as a “previews a possible future development of the award-winning GT86 sports coupe.” They are definitely going to make it, but it may take a while. If the GT86 Cabrio could be here by Summer, that’d be fantastic.

The GT86 (BRZ/FR-S), as you know, is currently the world’s best affordable sports car. The Cabrio version may not be just as brilliant to drive as the coupe, but it adds the thrill of open-top driving to the mix. Sounds like quite a recipe.
