The first official pictures of the new Honda Civic Tourer Concept have been released ahead of the car’s debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The real thing looks almost as cool as the first teaser sketches, and promises a very interesting estate car for the European market.

Technically, the Tourer is based on the production Euro-spec Civic hatchback, and will probably get the same sort line up of Earth Dreams engines. It also looks pretty much like the normal Civic at the front. But it’s the new rear-end that sets this car apart.

You get two sculpted taillights linked by a Porsche-style light bar, a diffuser style rear bumper, and a central tail pipe almost as big as that of the Lamborghini Aventador. The latter probably won’t make it into the production, but even so, it is a good design for a family estate.

Technical details will be released soon.
