The new Cadillac CTS finally makes its official debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show, boasting a new design, new equipment, and brand-new twin-turbo V6 engine that puts it at the top of its game. The new CTS inherits a lot of good stuff from the ATS sports sedan.

To make sure the CTS offers as good a drive as the ATS, Cadillac engineers fitted the 2014 model with Magnetic Ride Control, adjusted the length and track width of the car, shed as much weight as they could, and set a nearly 50/50 weight balance. It can be specified with Electronic limited-slip differential and Brembo brakes. All-wheel-drive is also available.

You can choose from three different engines, including the new twin-turbo V6 with 420 horsepower (313 kW) and 430 lb.-ft. of torque (583 Nm) and a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds; the naturally aspirated 3.6L V-6 rated at an estimated 321 horsepower; and the 2.0L turbocharged engine rated at an estimated 272 horsepower.

Highlights of the exterior design in the new CTS include the sporty front apron with signature vertical lighting elements – including LED front signature lighting detail, bold active grille, trapezoidal tailpipes and sport rims from 17 to 19-inch. Inside the cabin you find lots of handcrafted luxury appointments, as well as authentic wood, carbon fiber or aluminum trims, and integrated technology features.

Production of the 2014 Cadillac CTS will begin this fall, so expect to see it in the showrooms towards the end of the year.
