Now that Ford has revealed the new version of the Focus, the next order of business for their designers and engineers is to come up with a new RS version. It’s been a while since we last got a Focus RS, but it seems they have big surprises in store for the new model.

Ford Focus RS has always been one of the most powerful cars in the hot hatch segment. The previous model eve had a limited edition version with 350 horsepower. So naturally, the most important thing about the 2015 version is the power output.

If the recent reports and rumors are true, the 2015 Focus RS is not going to disappoint its fans, as it will be powered by the same 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine Ford has developed for the new Mustang. What’s more, the engine is said to make more power in the Focus than it does in the muscle car. In the Mustang the 2.3 liter unit will be tuned to make around 300 horsepower. In the Focus RS the output till be fixed at 330.

Apart from the extra oomph, the 2015 Ford Focus RS will also a unique body kit with large front and rear spoilers, big wheels, beefier suspension and high-performance brakes, bespoke interior with sporty features such as bucket seats and Alcantara accents, and a trick front differential to manage the power.
