During the British GT Media Day at Donington, UK’s first McLaren P1 customer car – belonging to Paul Bailey, the owner of Horse Power Racing – popped by giving passenger rides to some lucky visitors. The guys from Supercar Driver were there, and managed to secure some awesome onboard footage of the hyper car devouring Donington.

McLaren P1 is so far ahead of the LaFerrari and Porsche 918 as it is getting a lot more media attention than the other two. But that could soon change, as the Germans and the Italians are starting to deliver the first units of their hyper cars to the customers.

McLaren P1 is powered by a 3.8 liter turbocharged V8, coupled to an electric hybrid system, generating a combined power output of 916 PS (903 hp). Top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph), with the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 6.8 seconds, and 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 16.5 seconds.
