Following Paul Walker’s tragic death in a fiery car crash December last year, a lot of tribute videos to him and his movie franchise Fast and Furious emerged on the web and they were all beautiful. This one though is a bit more special, as it was made by a group of amateurs who put their heart and soul into it and created something spectacular.  

Created by Vax Studios, the clip recreates some of Fast and Furious car chases and famous races using RC cars with a bit of help from special effects.

Fast and Furious is not done with CGI, as the seventh installment is said to feature a virtual Paul Walker. They thought about retiring Brian O’Connor in FF7, but it didn’t feel right. So they decided to use a combination of CGI and body doubles, namely Paul’s brothers, to keep him in the film.
