Football fever is high these days and as we get closer to the World Cup, it gets worse. Trying to use this hype to their advantage, Ford came up with a cunning plan to launch the new Mustang in the UK during this year’s UEFA Champions League final match. As the game kicks off 500 units of the 2015 Ford Mustang become available for pre-order.

So on May 24 you can either watch the match between Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid, or get online and register your interest for buying a shiny new Mustang. If you spec up your car beforehand, it’ll only take a few minutes to place an order.

If you haven’t done that, then you are going to spend a lot more than 90 minutes figuring out what you want and what you don’t want. 2015 Ford Mustang will be available in the UK in both fastback and convertible models and a choice of two engines including the all-new 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-banger with over 300 PS and 400 Nm of torque, and the renowned 5.0 litre V8 with more than 426 PS and 529 Nm of torque.
