A Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Sudbury, Massachusetts, was the victim of a fire that consumed at least 20 brand new cars. The fire took place in the early hours of September 23rd and although passers-by immediately called the fire department, it still did a good deal of damage to the inventory.

The cause of the fire at Jaguar Land Rover dealership is still under investigation, but early reports suggest it was started in the back of the facility where cars are stored awaiting repair. Once the flames reached other vehicles their gasoline tanks exploded and spread the fire even quicker than before.

No one was injured in this incident, but more than 20 Jaguar Land Rover cars are completely destroyed, some of them beyond recognition. As Sudbury Fire Chief Williams Milles put it: “some of the cars were so badly damaged, that it’s difficult to tell just what kind of cars they are.”

We feel really bad for the dealership’s insurance company!
