The rumors about Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider making a surprise debut at the upcoming Paris Motor how gain momentum again as sources from inside the company shed some light on details of the new open-top super car. This car will be the last non-turbo mid-engined V8 Ferrari ever.

It doesn’t take a lot of effort to guess what sort of specs one might expect from the Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider. You just cross the normal Speciale with a 458 Spider and there’s your lot. But the car is reportedly getting some exclusive touches to be set further apart.

You’d still get the brilliant folding hardtop you get with the normal Spider models, but 458 Speciale Spider gets new wheels designs, bespoke stripes available only for this version, and new sport seats. These little changes add up to make playing around with that 600 horsepower V8 even more fun than before.

Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider is said to have a limited production of just 458 copies. But Ferrari’s new boss Sergio Marchionne is a big fan of high-volume production, so they might make more.
