Following a remarkable first attempt, German tuner GeigerCars has now released a new and more thorough upgrade package for the Corvette Stingray C7. Shown here in a gorgeous two-tone black and yellow paint job, Geiger’s Stingray gets a substantial power boost plus various other improvements.
The standard C7 comes with a naturally-aspirated 460-hp LT1 V8 engine. GeigerCars Corvette Stingray uses the same engine but with an Eaton supercharger bolted on top, increasing the output to 590 hp and a torque of 757 Nm, resulting in a supercar-busting top speed of 320 km/h.
The Corvette comes as standard with a pretty good chassis/suspension system with magnetic ride control and what have you. But Geiger decided a set of individually-adjusted KW variant 3 coilovers would work better, especially in tandem with the new wheels they’d bolted on the car – 9.5×19 inch with 255/30R19 tires up front and at the rear 11×20 inch with 305/25R20.
Visually, GeigerCars Corvette Stingray gets an ultra-light carbon fiber aero kit consisting of a front splitter with additional flaps to the left and right, new sills, rear bumper with diffuser, and a rear spoiler. The special paint scheme featured here called “motorsport gold” is also available to order.
Total cost of these upgrades comes to 113,000 Euros, the car included.
