This gorgeous thing you see here is the latest McLaren P1 MSO one-off special edition designed by the vaunted McLaren Special Operations unit for a British businessman. The car features a special blue paint job like Lewis Hamilton’s P1, but it’s garnished with some very cool red accents.
Ordered by David Kyte, chairman and founder of Hamilton Court FX, this McLaren P1 MSO comes with red accents around pretty much every strategically-placed body panels, including the hood, air intakes, front splitter, side mirrors, side vents, rear diffuser, rear wing, and of course the wheels. The dashboard is also painted in the same blue as the exterior.
The red accenting is the perfect complement for the blue and carbon paint work on this car and gives it that unique look you would expect from a hyper car customized by McLaren Special Operations. Sadly, these guys can only offer you cosmetic upgrades for the time being. If you want performance upgrades for your P1 you just have to come up with another 1.5 million quid and get the P1 GTR.
The standard McLaren P1 comes with a 3.8 liter bi-turbo V8 boosted by an electric motor for a total output of 916 horsepower. That’s enough to propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 2.6 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 350 km/h.
