Chevy specialist Callaway Cars announced they are adding a second member to their Stingray family which already includes a 627 horsepower C7. The new Callaway Corvette Z06 raises the bar further by giving you access to a full 757 bhp and 777 lb-ft of torque.

Now, a lot of people do not understand what those numbers mean. To them they are utterly meaningless. In order to clear that up we are going to give you some more numbers, but these one everybody understands perfectly. Callaway Corvette Z06 has a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds at 131 mph!

To create this monster Callway took in a standard 650 horsepower Z06 ‘Vette and went to town on its engine. They fitted the V8 with a Callaway GenThree supercharger which is 32% larger in displacement and supplemented it with a triple-element intercooler. Manifolds and pulleys and software were among the other things that got modified. The result of all this is more than a hundred horsepower gain in power which is a sweet deal considering that the package costs only $16,995.
