Well, we say buy, but we are not sure yet whether Webber actually bought this gorgeous Porsche 918 Spyder or just accepted it as a gift from the company. All we know is ex-F1 driver and current Porsche factory driver and Le Mans racer Mark Webber went to the Zuffenhausen facility yesterday to collect his personal 918.

And this is it, a unique ad seriously hot red Porsche 918 Weissach Package with white stripes. If we didn’t know better we would say those stripes look like hot rod flames. But they are actually inspired by some racing livery or other, and they look really good.

As for the Weissach package, the telltale signs of it include the large rear spoiler, chunkier front spoiler, and a different rear diffuser than the one on the normal models, not to mention the lightweight wheels. Mark’s Porsche 918 also features a carbon and Alcantara interior which looks a lot cooler than the normal leather treatment.

Webber will be using this baby to travel to the Nürburgring where he will switch to a Porsche 919 Hybrid to take part in the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Nürburgring. Say what you want, but we reckon Mark is having a lot more fun as an endurance driver than he did in the demanding world of Formula 1.
