With all the exciting things going on at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, including the debut of the Ferrari 488 Spider, some fine cars didn’t get the attention they deserved. The Tailor Made Ferrari California T models were among them. So let’s see what are they all about.
The real Ferrari aficionado among you may have already suspected this Tailor Made Ferrari California T you see above looks somewhat like an iconic classic Ferrari. They’d be right. This exclusive Cali T is inspired by the 1957 250 TR, boasting a Piano Black bodywork garnished with sporty red and white detailing on the front bumper and a matte Grigio Ferro Met grille. The unique exterior is complemented with a similarly themed interior featuring black leather with extensive Rosso Cremisi, just as the original track car.
The second Tailor Made Ferrari California T from IAA is somewhat simpler, but equally awesome. The biggest highlights of this model include a glossy Grigio Titanio bodywork, an Antracite top and black leather and Blu Microprestige technical fabric interior trim. These two models serve as examples of what Ferrari’s Tailor Made division can do for your run of the mill Ferrari.
