Purple cars seem to be all the rage these days. We reckon it all started with the Porsche GT3 RS and its Ultraviolet paint option. Now everybody wants a purple car. This cool Purple Aventador 50th Anniversary Roadster came before all that, but it’s sill one of the coolest.

Spotted in Geneva, this Roadster beauty is special in more ways than one. First, of course, there is that unique color. Then there is that 50th Anniversary limited edition kit which gives the Aventador a much more aggressive and mean look. As we mentioned before, we think the 50 Anniversario Aventador is a much cooler proposition than the new SuperVeloce.

Another highlight of this Purple Aventador 50th Anniversary Roadster, which roams around Geneva on KSA plates, is a white leather and Alcantara interior with a nice two-tone steering wheel. The car is powered by a 720 horsepower version of Lambo’s 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder engine and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 350 km/h. Each unit has a Forged Composite badge with the 50° logo and a serial number, paying homage to 50 years of making some of the craziest cars in the world.
