The 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale A (Aperta), as you know, is a limited edition of just 499 units. Turns out there is also a limited edition version of the limited edition, the one you see here called Interceptor II, according to plaque on the center console.
Now, because of the unique paint work/stripe combination and the fact that pretty much each limited edition Ferrari that leaves the factory is highly personalized, one would imagine that Interceptor thing is something of particular significance to this car’s previous owner and not a Ferrari thing, as it were. This is a second-hand Interceptor Ferrari 458 Speciale A with 16,000 km on the clock, on sale at an undisclosed price at Hoefnagels.
Regardless of that somewhat confusing plaque, this 458 Speciale Aperta is, without a question or shadow of doubt, one of the most nicely specced examples in the word. The blue color of the exterior, garnished with yellow stripes and 20 inch Aperta rims, is complemented with a unique interior wrapped almost entirely in blue Alcantara, adorned with yellow stitching.
As yet another plaque on the car clearly tells, Ferrari 458 Speciale A is powered by an award-winning 4.5 liter V8 engine tuned to 605 horsepower in this model. It enables the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds and lap Fiorano in 1’23”5, which is faster than an Enzo.
