Given the number of unique and one-off cars we have seen at Jay Leno’s Garage over the years, it feels kind of weird when he brings out a normal, production car to test, even if the car in question is a super car. This time Jay has got a 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus at his place, and as usual after a brief introduction he hits the streets of Burbank in it to see what it’s like.

Just to recap, the 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus is powered by a 5.2 FSI V10 engine which develops 610 horsepower. Mated to a 7-speed S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive, that power enables the R8 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph or 330 km/h. Meanwhile, because the car is fairly lightweight and the engine is so efficient, the fuel consumption is pretty great for a car of this caliber and gives you a range of 450 km or 280 miles.
