Now that the new Bugatti Chiron has made its official debut and we know how it looks like, renderings artists the world over are scrambling to imagine what the car might look like when they inevitably chop its roof and make a roadster version. These new renderings of Bugatti Chiron Grand Sport come from RM Design, and they seem to be pretty much spot on.

That said, what the designer has come up with has the same problem as the one we showed you a few days ago. The hardtop Chiron a big strip of chrome garnishing the side profile, extending all the way from the top of the side windows to the bottom of the side sills. It will be interesting to see how they will change this thing in the real Bugatti Chiron Grand Sport, but they almost certainly won’t cut it off willy nilly like in this photos.

Another reason we’re looking forward to seeing the real Bugatti Chiron Grand Sport is the performance. The hardtop, as I’m sure you know, comes with a 1,500 horsepower W16 quad-turbo engine which gives the car a top speed of 260 mph. The laws of physics will not allow the convertible (with the top down) be just as quick. But rest assured, the open-top Chiron will continue the holding on the fastest convertible crown won fair and square by its Grand Sport predecessor.
